Born in Wabash, Lindsay has always known Indiana to be her home, despite spending much of her young adulthood traveling the world. While working on her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University’s Henry Radford Hope College of the Arts, she spent time studying in Italy and participating in Semester at Sea, a global education experience aboard a marine vessel that traveled around the world’s circumference. It was on this shipboard experience that she began documenting her travels with dynamic media.
Upon graduating with a double major in Art History and Studio Art, Lindsay spent her life savings to explore the world on her own, visiting 24 countries on three continents for seven months.
In 2009, Lindsay competed in an online contest for the World Traveler Internship, created by the world’s leading youth travel agency, STA Travel. After beating out over 700 other applicants, she traveled for 2.5 months to ten countries with the mission of documenting the entire experience – for which she shot and produced 29 short travel videos.
With ProjectExplore.org she has co-produced more than 40 short films for young adults. She is currently in post-production for the series, which is due to launch in September of 2010.
Lindsay is the creator and writer of Nomadderwhere.com, a travel blog for inspiring students and young adults to pursue their passions and travel the world for educational purposes.
